Swanage Fairy Festival

Swanage fairy Festival will be making a huge splash again this year in the stunning seaside town of Swanage in Dorset. You will be mesmerized with the spectacular live mermaid show, spellbound by the enchanting fairies, pillaging pirates and super strong super heroes that will come to life over three magical days in June half term 2023!!!!                                                        There will be lots from face painting tattoo’s and glitter, Workshops plus wonderful stalls selling beautiful magical gifts in our marque!! Carefully selected local food stalls, Waffles, Ice cream, Cakes and Churro’s. Fresh Pineapple Pina colada’s and a bar selling local beers and gin.

The Royal Bath & West Show at Shepton Mallet is a great day out this June. From the country’s finest livestock, over 600 trade stands, the National Cheese Awards to the UK’s biggest cider competition, there really is something for everyone – family or food lover.

Wimborne Minster Folk Festival – Wimborne Minster

Wimborne’s annual folk festival returns in 2018 with a huge line-up of national and international performers and a few more new and exciting things happening around the town, yet to be announced!

Join us for a weekend of folk, family & fun in the historic market town of Wimborne Minster, in the beautiful Dorset countryside over the weekend 8, 9, 10, June 2018. The festival is in it’s sixth year, showcasing a wide range of music, dance, workshops and family activities.

Tankfest – The Tank Museum, Bovington

TANKFEST offers a globally unique spectacle of historic tanks in action. Refreshed for 2023, arena displays will tell the story of the tank in parallel with the development of anti-tank warfare since its birth to the present day. Expect explosive demonstrations of rare historic armour with displays of the weapons and vehicles used to defeat them in this new show.

Summer Estate Walk

Time of Event: 10:00 – 17:00
Venue: Stourhead
Entry Fee:Free

Pull on your walking boots and experience Stourhead’s diverse countryside. You may see orchids and butterflies as you walk across historic parkland, over chalk downs and through ancient woods. Your volunteer guide will share how the estate has evolved

Friday 30th June(evening only) – Sunday 2nd July 

Chickerell Steam and Vintage Show – Moor Farm, Chickerell, Weymouth, Dorset, DT3 4EA

Two day show with steam engines, classic vehicles, food hall, craft, models trains and boats, childrens entertainment, trade, music, beer tent, arena events, food stalls and the Chickerell Challenge!

Abbotsbury Swannery

Come & see the newly hatched, fluffy baby Swans. Hundreds of Cygnets hatch around the pathways. Do not miss the mass feeding at 12 & 4pm daily. Find your way around the Giant Swan Sensory Maze, have a go on the Pedal Go Karts and climb the Bale Mountain.
