The Tank Museum, Bovington
The biggest model show in the South West is back!
This year’s Autumn model show will be bigger than ever – with indoor and outdoor traders and displays, plus sci-fi and more. Traders, exhibitors and modelling demonstrations alongside the real thing. Model planes, ships, sci-fi, trains and, of course, tanks of all types and sizes will be available to see, make and purchase.

Wessex Heavy Horse Show and Contry Fayre
One of the largest Heavy Horse events in the South West, the annual Wessex Heavy Horse Show and Country Fayre is a spectacle of Heavy Horse breeds. The show will include classes for ridden and driven horses, as well as in-hand and harness classes and a Young Handler’s class.
It also features the West Of England Heavy Horse Championships, a prestigious Championship that sees the best horses in the West of England compete against each other.

Shaftesbury Carnival is an annual event that has become part of Shaftesbury’s history. It’s been taking place for over 140 years!
