Hardy chalet (named after Dorset’s most loved author ‘Thomas Hardy’), provides spacious accommodation for six people. Similar in style to Wessex Chalet, this well appointed chalet provides a quiet retreat from normal everyday life. On a clear day, from the upstairs master bedroom you can just about see King Alfred’s Tower in the distance which is situated near the National Trust’s Stourhead.

Master Double Bedroom with En-Suite Bathroom
The master bedroom has its own balcony which provides views across our beautiful Dorset countryside. The en-suite bathroom includes shower over bath and heated towel rail.
First Floor en-suite Twin Room
The pine sloping ceiling provides ideal space for clothes with hanging rails and shelves. The twin room includes two divan single beds and an additional small wardrobe. The en-suite features a corner shower.
Open Plan Lounge, Kitchen & Dining Room
The lounge, dining area and kitchen provide spacious accommodation for up to six people. The luxurious leather sofas include reclining seats with foot rests. The black glass real fire effect heating produces a lovely cosy atmosphere.
Ground Floor En-Suite Double Bedroom
The downstairs double bedroom with en-suite wet room, W/C and hand basin provides easier access for less able guests.
Accessibility
Hardy Chalet is fronted with gravel but has a tarmac path from the front door along one side to the veranda at the back. The back door from the veranda has a wooden ramp allowing easier access for a wheelchair.

Please Note: During the summer season, weekly bookings commence on a Saturday Short breaks of two nights are available out of peak season. A minimum of 3 nights for Easter, early May Bank Holiday and Christmas/New Year is required Please contact Christina for a price. A minimum of 7 nights for May Half Term, Summer Holidays and October Half Term.
