Melbury is one of our most luxurious holiday chalets, complete with an Outdoor 6-Seater Hydrotherapy Hot Tub for the ultimate in four star relaxation and comfort. Our Melbury chalet boasts self-catering accommodation for six adults and has been recently awarded a four star rating by Visit England. We opted for a lighter exterior shade compared to our darker Hardy and Wessex chalets. This lighter pine is continued throughout to compliment the modern and contemporary interior.
With a busy day filled with sightseeing and trips to the beach, what better way to unwind in the evening than to sit outside on the veranda with a glass of wine or a cool drink. You don’t even have to wait for a summers evening to enjoy the Hydrotherapy Hot Tub as the warm water will deliver a comfortable soak in cooler weathers.
We have been inspected by Visit England and are delighted with the Four Star awarded to Melbury Chalet.

Master Double Bedroom with En-Suite Shower Room
The spacious and airy en-suite master double bedroom on the first floor has its own balcony overlooking the grazing fields of Dorset. The opened pine sloping ceilings give character and a feeling of space. The bedroom has a dressing table with vanity mirror plus plenty of open hanging space and shelving for clothing. The en-suite shower room has the convenience of heated towel rail and shaver point.
Twin Bedroom with En-Suite Shower Room
The large twin room, also on the first floor, boasts spectacular views of Duncliffe and Melbury woods and the Saxon town of Shaftesbury. This bedroom also has pine sloping ceilings with open hanging rails and shelves. The en-suite shower room has a heated towel rail and shaver point.
Ground Floor Double Bedroom with En-Suite Bathroom
The third double bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom with a bath complete with overhead shower.
Open Plan Lounge, Kitchen & Dining
The spacious open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is furnished in a contemporary style including leather reclining sofas, 32” flat screen TV, DVD player and remote controlled stylish black glass corner fire. French windows open out for convenient access to the veranda and the hot tub. The large kitchen has been fitted with an integrated dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. In addition to the electric oven and hob, there is also a built in microwave. Situated in the downstairs bedroom is a mini freezer should additional freezer space be required.
Cloakroom
Conveniently situated by the entrance, the cloakroom provides the perfect space for outdoor wear. Adjoining the cloakroom is a toilet and wash hand basin.
Hydrotherapy Hot Tub
The six seater hot tub has 32 water jets that provide a gentle and effective massage targeting your joints and muscles blending perfectly with swirling warm water to deliver a relaxing soak with rejuvenating properties even in cooler weather. It now has a wooden gazebo with slatted trellis to provide privacy and a windbreak.

Accessibility
Melbury chalet is fronted with gravel but has a tarmac path from the front door along one side to the veranda at the back. The front door has a drop of 7” to the tarmac but access via the back door is only 4.5” onto the veranda with a further 4” up to the back door. Please find below Melbury Chalet’s floor plan.

Please Note: Melbury Chalet is now subject to a £100 refundable damage security deposit. This is payable with the balance and refunded within 14 days of guest departure post inspection and cleaning.
